Now that Conor McGregor has been stripped of his Featherweight championship, which he never defended after a 13-second knockout of Jose Aldo at UFC 194 back in Dec. 2015, perhaps "Scarface" will return to the Octagon sooner than later after a tumultuous disagreement with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) executives that nearly sent the talented Brazilian into the arms of a different sport.
In hindsight, it appears UFC was just protecting a very, very valuable interest.
Nevertheless, Aldo actually sat down for a recent interview with UFC.com after it was announced that his interim 145-pound title, which he earned with a unanimous decision over Frankie Edgar at UFC 200 this past summer (recap), was restored whole.
