A key welterweight fight is heading to upstate New York.
On Wednesday afternoon, UFC officials to confirmed to the Democrat and Chronicle a clash between Neil Magny and Vicente Luque in the welterweight co-main event of UFC Rochester on May 18. Farah Hannoun broke the news initially.
Magny (21-7), a veteran of season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter, is looking to right the ship after being knocked out by Santiago Ponzinibbio in November. This setback not only snapped his two-fight winning streak but marked just the second time the Colorado native had been finished with strikes in his career.
