Neil Magny announces failed USADA test that led to UFC Rochester withdrawal

Earlier this week, Neil Magny was forced to withdraw from a scheduled bout with Vicente Luque this Saturday at UFC Rochester. He announced Tuesday that his withdrawal was due to a failed USADA test.

The 31-year-old welterweight broke the news on Instagram, stating that he failed an out-of-competition drug test for the banned substance “Di-Hydroxy-LGD-4033.”

LGD-4033 is listed as an anabolic agent according to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s prohibited list, which has been adopted by the USADA. It is prohibited year-round.

Magny’s statement reads as follows:

As many of you know, I had to withdraw from my sceduled bout against Vicente Luque on Saturday, May 18th.
