Josh Neer is no talker. He’s a fighter. But for one night in December of 2013, he put the two together as he fought Anthony Smith in a Victory Fighting Championship bout in Ralston, Nebraska.
“He’s a cocky guy and he kind of thinks he’s the man, so I just wanted to let him know that he’s not,” Neer said of the running conversation between he and Smith before “The Dentist” ended his opponent’s night via submission in the third round. “I wanted him to know that I’m gonna be there the whole night, and that’s the same way it’s gonna be this fight.
