Despite dropping five of his last six fights, including two straight, veteran Nate Marquardt (pictured) has been granted a reprieve by UFC.
On Friday, it was announced Marquardt will face C.B. Dollaway at UFC on FOX 17.
Nate “The Great” has been anything but of late. This is a must-win if the 36-year-old has ever seen one.
Dollaway, meanwhile, could very well also be fighting for his UFC life having lost two straight. “The Ultimate Fighter 7″ runner-up was TKO’d by Lyoto Machida before getting outpointed by Michael Bisping in April.
A tango between Tamdan McCrory and Josh Samman was also confirmed for the event.
