Nate Diaz set for re-hearing with Nevada Athletic Commission on Wednesday

Last month, UFC sensation Conor McGregor met with the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) to settle a dispute over the $75,000 fine he received for throwing water bottles and cans of monster energy at team Diaz at the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference.

McGregor, the current UFC lightweight champion, engaged in a bottle-throwing melee with opponent Nate Diaz and his team. Diaz and members of the 'scrap pack' initiated the exchange and McGregor retaliated. At one point, Diaz' teammate Jake Shields looked to throw a reporter's laptop at 'The Notorious'.

McGregor's initial punishment of a $75,000 fine and 50 hours' community service was reduced to $25,000 and 25 hours.
