NAC: Mayweather team inquired about changing glove size, waiver possible

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have been verbally sparring via social media this past couple of days. Their main issue: glove size.

Mayweather first broached the idea of changing the agreed upon glove size, from ten ounces to the lighter eight-ounce version. McGregor, who has been ripping on his August 26th opponent for having “brittle b-tch hands”, responded by calling the bluff.

On Wednesday, Nevada Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett revealed to MMA Fighting that the Mayweather team actually reached out to them to inquire about the possible glove change.
