The Bellator lightweight roster has added a former UFC fighter.
MMA Fighting confirmed with officials that Myles Jury (17-4) has signed a multi-fight deal to compete in the promotion’s lightweight division, following an initial report by ESPN.
Jury’s last four fights took place at 145 pounds, including his most recent outing against Andre Fili at UFC Phoenix in February. The 30-year-old lost his last two UFC fights and four of his last six, after starting his pro career with 15 consecutive wins.
He also lost a split decision to Al Iaquinta on season 15 of The Ultimate Fighter, but bouts on that show are considered exhibitions.
