Russian welterweight Muslim Salikhov has been notified by the United States Anti-Doping Agency of a drug test failure.
The UFC released a statement Friday announcing that the 34-year-old Salikhov is facing a doping violation after an out-of-competition sample collected on June 7, 2018 in Russia tested positive for banned substances.
Salikhov (14-2) is not currently scheduled for a fight.
In two appearances for the UFC, the multiple time world Wushu Sanda champion has gone 1-1, most recently knocking out Ricky Rainey at UFC on FOX 29 in April.
