Multiple-time boxing world champion Amanda Serrano signs with Combate Americas

Amanda Serrano is headed to Combate Americas.

Serrano, the current WBO bantamweight boxing champion, has signed a multi-year agreement with the promotion, MMA Fighting has learned.

Serrano’s is expected to make her MMA debut under the Combate Americas banner sometime in March. The exact date is yet to be determined. The Puerto Rican will not be retiring from her accomplished boxing career, as she plans to compete professionally in both sports.

The 29-year-old fighter boasts an impressive professional boxing record of 34-1-1, including 26 knockout victories. Many consider Serrano among the best pound-for-pound female boxers today.
