Earlier this week, UFC President Dana White said he would be down to make a boxing superfight between undisputed middleweight champion Claressa Shields and UFC double champ, Amanda Nunes. Now it appears that Shields is just as willing as White to make it happen.
Speaking with MMA Tonight on SiriusXM, Shields discussed White’s comments, saying she’d be happy to box Nunes, but that it wouldn’t be particularly close.
“I give her full props,” Shields said. “In MMA right now, she would beat me at this point. We’re talking about if we fight tomorrow, at this point she would beat me.
