Morning Report: Tyron Woodley says Conor McGregor shouldn't try and come up to welterweight after UFC 205

Conor McGregor has a 1-1 record as a welterweight, and current 170-pound champion Tyron Woodley says McGregor would be best served to keep it that way.

Earlier this year McGregor was set to face Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title and there were rumblings that, should McGregor win, he would then jump right to the front of the line to fight then 170 lb. champion Robbie Lawler. Now as his lightweight title shot at UFC 205 against Eddie Alvarez approaches, and McGregor continues to hint at a major announcement afterwards, there are renewed rumblings that perhaps McGregor will try and fight the winner of the UFC 205 co-main event, Tyron Woodley defending his welterweight strap against Stephen Thompson.
