They say you’re only as good as your last performance, and Tyron Woodley’s case, that’s pretty bad. So the former welterweight champion is looking to get right back in the cage and remind people why, at one point, he was the most feared 170 pounder on the planet.
Woodley has lost back-to-back bouts for the first time in his career, and both were performances Woodley would rather forget. First, he lost his welterweight title to Kamaru Usman via five-round blowout decision that Woodley later described as an out-of-body experience. Then, last month, he had another such performance, losing a blowout decision to Gilbert Burns at UFC on ESPN 9.
