T.J. Dillashaw may have knocked out Cody Garbrandt twice in a combined 11 minutes and 51 seconds, but it sounds like the beef between the two will last a lifetime.
At UFC 217, Dillashaw knocked out his former training partner to regain his bantamweight title. Despite the finality of the loss, the UFC chose to book an immediate rematch between the two, hoping to cash in on the bad blood between Dillashaw and his old camp. Dillashaw even said heading into the fight that he planned on ruining Garbrandt’s career, and after knocking out Garbrandt for a second time, his words have proved somewhat prescient.
