On Saturday night at UFC Uruguay, Mike Perry may not have been in the main event, but he ended up stealing the show nonetheless. Perry and Vicente Luque put on a three round war that was declared Fight of the Night and earned both men an extra $50,000 for their trouble. That money will come in handy for Perry who suffered a gruesome nose break in the third round of the bout that required emergency surgery and will sideline him for at least the next six months. but though things didn’t work out for him in either the outcome or his physical well being, Perry seems to be taking it all in stride.
