Earlier this week, Nick Diaz revealed his intention to return to MMA early next year. The announcement came out of nowhere and immediately garnered a ton of response in the MMA community. Since then, a number of welterweights have thrown their hat in the ring to be the one to welcome Diaz back, including Leon Edwards, Stephen Thompson, and Darren Till. Even Conor McGregor got in on the fun, but perhaps no one has been more aggressive in calling for a fight with the elder Diaz brother than Mike Perry.
