It seems that Leon Edwards has given up on the goal of fighting Jorge Masvidal in a cage, so instead, he may have to force the hands of “Gamebred.”
For over a year now, Edwards has been pursuing a bout with Masvidal, dating back to the post-fight altercation at UFC London last year where Masvidal hit him with the now-famous “three piece and a soda.” Unfortunately for Edwards, he’s gained very little ground in his pursuit. Following their altercation, Masvidal went on to emerge as a bonafide star in the UFC and claiming the BMF title over Nate Diaz.
