Morning Report: Instead of title fight, Kamaru Usman wants Colby Covington next: ‘I’ve got to bless this dude with my hands’

At The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale, Kamaru Usman definitively declared himself as a true contender in the UFC welterweight division, dominating former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos en route to his ninth straight victory inside the octagon. Afterwards, UFC president Dana White said that he wanted to see Usman challenge Tyron Woodley for the 170-pound belt next, but it appears Usman has another idea.

Speaking with TMZ Sports on Wednesday, Usman revealed that the UFC offered him a fight with welterweight contender Colby Covington in January, and that is the fight he most wants right now.
