The disdain Ronda Rousey's mother has for the former champ's head coach is well documented.
Dr. AnnMaria De Mars spoke out against Edmond Tarverdyan even prior to Rousey's upset loss at UFC 193 to Holly Holm. De Mars didn't even travel to the fight in Australia as a form of protest. Rousey has stated she intends to stick with Tarverdyan moving forward and UFC president Dana White seems to be in full support of that call.
"It's a tough situation," White told TMZ. "She has a lot of respect for her mom. She loves her mom. She wouldn't be where she is today without her mom.
