Conor McGregor has been dominating the headlines recently, mostly for negative things, but now at least the Irish superstar has one less thing to worry about: the civil suit that was filed against him over an alleged confrontation with a fan in Miami has been dropped.
McGregor was arrested in March for allegedly stealing and smashing a fan’s phone outside of Liv nightclub. The fan, Ahmed Abdirzak, then filed a civil suit against McGregor for more than $15,000, accusing McGregor of battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress. But yesterday, TMZ and ESPN both reported that the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice at the request of Abdirzak, meaning a settlement was likely reached between the two parties.
