Last week, the UFC made headlines by completing the first ever trade between major MMA promotions when they released former flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson in exchange for ONE Championship’s Ben Askren. Askren has long been considered one fo the best fighters to have never stepped inside the octagon and once the news broke, Askren started calling out seemingly everyone in the UFC. Now though, he’s ready to focus his attention on one man.
Speaking on the Rudis Wrestling podcast that he co-hosts, Askren addressed his move over to the UFC and even mentioned who he’d like to face first, former welterweight title challenger Darren Till.
