Khabib Nurmagomedov has all the respect in the world for Max Holloway accepting a fight against him on just six days’ notice. He’s just not convinced it’s necessarily for the right reasons.
At a press conference Wednesday in Brooklyn to hype up their lightweight championship fight at UFC 223 on Saturday at the Barclays Center, Nurmagomedov accused Holloway of stepping in for an injured Tony Ferguson simply because he’s looking to collect a paycheck.
“I want to explain to you guys the difference between money and legacy,” Nurmagomedov said.
