At last week's hearing to decide the fate of Rousimar Palhares for his infraction of holding his kimura submission of Jake Shields too long, referee Steve Mazzagatti told the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) said he knew the kimura was deep because he had a 'sense' for it. Is that really enough of an answer? Refereeing in real time is difficult, but I find this answer to be insufficient.
