MMASucka staff picks are in for UFC Fight Night 156 taking place later this evening, August 10th, from the Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay. The main card will begin live and exclusively on ESPN+ beginning at 8:00pm ET (9:00pm UYT, 5:00pm PT).
THE FIGHTS
In the main event, Valentina Shevchenko will look to defend her UFC flyweight championship in a rematch against challenger Liz Carmouche. This fight will be a rematch nearly nine years from their first meeting in 2010, Carmouche coming out victorious following a doctor stoppage. Aside from the loss and two tight defeats to Amanda Nunes, Shevchenko is still arguably regarded the greatest female mixed martial arts fighter of all-time.
