Hey all, I decided not to address Covington’s ‘tribe’ and ‘smoke signals’ comments to Kamaru Usman. There’s no way to depict these things without kinda reinforcing them. Have any of you read the book Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut? It comes up whenever I see interviews with Covington where he insists that this is an act that was necessary to save his career. To sum up my feelings about his career thus far, let’s look to the immortal words of Walter Sokbchak, “that creep can roll.”
In happier news, THANK YOU for the awesome response from everyone who checked out my book The Fine Art of Violence.
