The title will still be on the line, but there will be one new participant for the belt at Invicta FC 28.
Mizuki Inoue will step in for Janaisa Morandin to take on Virna Jandiroba for the Invicta FC strawweight title in the main event of Invicta 28 on March 24 in Salt Lake City, the promotion announced Friday. Morandin’s issue was undisclosed. Inoue was supposed to face Milana Dudieva at the event and Invicta is currently looking for an opponent for Dudieva.
Inoue (12-4) has not fought since beating Lynn Alvarez at Invicta 18 in July 2016 due to knee surgery.
