Misha Cirkunov is heading to middleweight to face a tough test in October.
Promotional officials revealed on Tuesday that Cirkunov will make the move down from light heavyweight to face Krzysztof Jotko at the UFC’s event on Oct. 2. The fight card is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
After a 4-0 start—with four finishes—to his UFC tenure, Cirkunov has gone 2-4 over his last six appearances. After a peruvian necktie submission against Jimmy Crute at UFC Vancouver in September 2019, Cirkunov returned to the octagon at UFC Vegas 21 in March where he was stopped in just over a minute by Ryan Spann.
