One of the top prospects in MMA is finally back after a devastating loss.
Mirsad Bektic will make his return to the cage against Godofredo Pepey at UFC on FOX 27 on Jan. 27 in Charlotte, N.C., it was reported Wednesday by the Charlotte Observer. Also added to the card was a bout between Niko Price and George Sullivan.
Bektic (11-1) has not fought since a stunning knockout loss to Darren Elkins at UFC 209 back in March. Bektic was dominating the fight until the third round when Elkins caught him with a head kick and finished with punches on the ground.
