Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Withdraws From Bellator 200, Carvalho vs. Mousasi Promoted to Headliner

Bellator 200 has lost its headliner, as an undisclosed injury has forced Mirko Filipovic to withdraw from Friday’s card.

Multiple outlets confirmed the withdrawal on Monday following an initial report from The Telegraph. “Cro Cop” was scheduled to face Roy Nelson in a heavyweight fight in the Bellator 200 main event. The matchup was also tabbed as an alternate bout for the California-based organization’s heavyweight grand prix.

As a result of the cancellation, the middleweight championship showdown between reigning titlist Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi has been elevated to the new headliner.
