Cro Cop passed an out-of-competition drug test, stemming from a sample collected April 5 in his home country of Croatia, Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation director Mike Mazzulli confirmed with MMA Fighting on Wednesday. Mazzulli, the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports (ABC) president who regulates Bellator overseas shows, traveled himself to Croatia to collect the sample.
The results were analyzed at Quest Diagnostics in the United States and returned Wednesday, Mazzulli said. MMAjunkie was the first to report the drug-test results.
Cro Cop, 43, meets Roy Nelson at Bellator 200 on May 25 in London.
