The UFC’s debut in Russia will include a potentially entertaining middleweight slugfest this September, as ESPN’s Ariel Helwani reports that C.B. Dollaway is set to face Dagestan’s Omari Akhmedov.
Dollaway (17-8) received a rare disqualification win in his last outing, as Hector Lombard knocked him out after the opening round had ended at UFC 222. Prior to that, “The Doberman” earned a decision against Ed Herman at The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale in Las Vegas.
Akhmedov (17-4-1) fought to a majority draw against Marvin Vettori at UFC 219, in what was his return to middleweight.
