Angela Hill will get another change to break into the top 10 when she meets Michelle Waterson at a UFC Fight Night event on August 22.
Waterson (17-8) and Hill (12-8) are both looking for a restart in the division after suffering losses. “The Karate Hottie” lost two consecutive fights to Carla Esparza and Joanna Ju0119drzejczyk after racking up three straight wins. The Esparza loss was closely contested and had media scorecards split, according to MMA Decisions. A majority of fans pegged Waterson as the winner.
Hill had really turned a corner in her career and seemed poised to extend her UFC-best run to four straight wins.
