Michel Prazeres returns a ‘healthier’ fighter as a welterweight at UFC Chile

After missing weight three times during his six-fight winning streak in the UFC, Michel Prazeres won’t be cutting all the way down to 155 pounds for his next fight.

Prazeres is scheduled to take on Zak Cummings at the UFC Chile card in Santiago on Saturday and is feeling better than he was prior to his nine bouts as a lightweight in the Octagon.

”I’ll fight a bit healthier,” Prazeres told MMA Fighting. “I still cut a lot of weight, even for 170, but my power and conditioning will be a lot better.
