Michel Prazeres has a new opponent for UFC’s first Fight Night event in Czech Republic.
With Ramazan Emeev sidelined due to an undisclosed injury, “Trator” will now welcome Octagon newcomer Ismail Naurdiev to the UFC at Prague’s O2 Arena on Feb. 23, multiple sources told MMA Fighting. MMA Brasil first reported the match-up.
Naurdiev (17-2), a 22-year-old welterweight from Grozny, Russia, signed with the promotion after winning 13 of his last 14 fights, finishing every single one of the opponents in his victories.
Prazeres (26-2), winner of two in a row since moving up to 170 pounds, is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak over the likes of Zak Cummings, Desmond Green, Josh Burkman and Gilbert Burns.
