Shortly after his resounding knockout victory against Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 202, Michael McDonald was questioning whether he should continue with his mixed martial arts career.
That was because “Mayday” thought he broke his left hand during the bout, and the prospect of a fifth hand surgery was not appealing to the 27-year-old Californian. On Tuesday, however, McDonald offered a more optimistic outlook on his future prospects.
“A bone in my hand near my wrist was shattered into multiple pieces when I was finishing the fight,” McDonald wrote on social media.
