Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight power-puncher Michael McDonald, once considered the future of the 135-pound division, hasn't seen the inside of the Octagon since getting dominated by Urijah Faber at the UFC on FOX 9 event way back in late 2013.
That's because "Mayday" has been suffering from issues with his wrist, forearm, and shoulder, all of which appear to be healed up and put in his rear-view mirror. While the 24-year-old up-and-comer already warned mixed martial arts (MMA) fans he was in no rush to return, the competition isn't getting any easier.
The abstinent McDonald (16-3), who according to a report from UFC Tonight is planning to make his cagefighting return later this year, is 5-2 under the UFC banner, with his only losses coming at the hands of Faber and former 135-pound kingpin Renan Barao.
