A UFC welterweight's issues with the law have forced the promotion to remove him from a scheduled bout in Brazil. Michael Graves, an undefeated American Top Team fighter and TUF 21 alum, was arrested for misdemeanor battery (family violence) on Saturday. Fulton County jail records confirm (via MMA Fighting) that Graves had his bail set at $5000, but is still in custody.
Today, the UFC issued a statement on the issue, saying he was out of his fight:
"The UFC organization is aware that Michael Graves was arrested over the weekend on a misdemeanor battery charge.
