Michael Bisping Urges Anderson Silva To Retire From MMA After Fight-Ending Leg Injury

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes it may be time for Anderson Silva to finally hang up his gloves after suffering another fight-ending leg injury on Saturday night.

Taking on Jared Cannonier in the co-main event of UFC 237 on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, the 44-year old Silva collapsed when Cannonier landed a kick to the inside of The Spider’s knee and referee Herb Dean had to intervene to prevent the Brazilian from taking any further damage.

Bisping, who has a win over Silva in a “Fight of the Night” performance in London, England said on the post-fight show on ESPN+ that it’s probably time for the former champion to walk away from the sport he’s given so much to (transcript via MMAJunkie).
