Megan Anderson will look to make it two in a row when she next competes in New York.
Officials announced Tuesday via a press release that Anderson will meet the debuting Felicia Spencer (6-0) at UFC Rochester on May 18. The bout was first reported by news.com.au.
Anderson, a former Invicta FC featherweight champion, is coming off of her first UFC victory, though one that came as the result of an unfortunate eye injury to her opponent Cat Zingano. Barely a minute into their fight at UFC 232 last December, a high kick from Anderson grazed Zingano’s eye, leaving Zingano clutching at her face and forcing the referee to wave off the bout.
