Megan Anderson has expressed her frustration in the past towards the UFC women’s featherweight division, but with some recent signings she is now excited by its future.
Anderson (9-3) made her UFC debut in June of last year, losing a one-sided unanimous decision to Holly Holm. She has since picked up a win against Cat Zingano, although in a somewhat controversial manner as an eye injury from a head kick meant Zingano was unable to continue.
Talking to MMA Junkie radio when she attended the ESPN card in Wichita this past weekend, Anderson revealed she is happy the UFC has started to add to their 145-pound weight class for women.
