According to boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr., not only is he training with reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley but he’s also in the process of applying for an MMA license.
Mayweather, who beat Conor McGregor via 10th-round TKO in last year’s mega-hyped boxing match, says he will need around six to eight months to prepare for an MMA bout.
As unlikely as it is, if he does grant McGregor a rematch in the Octagon ‘The Best Ever’ will enter the cage as a serious underdog.
Sports betting company Westgate lists McGregor as a -1000 favorite, and Mayweather, 41, a massive +650 underdog.
