Was diet a part of the reason that Conor McGregor flagged so much in the second round against Nate Diaz? That seems to be what the SBG Ireland fighter is suggesting.
Conor McGregor was supposed to face Nate Diaz in a rematch of his first UFC loss, at UFC 196 back in March. The pair were scheduled for another fight, at welterweight, as the main event of UFC 200 this July. He's since been pulled from the fight for failing to meet scheduled promotional duties, but that doesn't seem to have dampened his enthusiasm for a second shot at the younger Diaz brother:
I love it!
