A prospect vs. prospect fight between two ranked flyweights is happening this summer.
Maycee Barber and Miranda Maverick have agreed to a fight scheduled for an upcoming UFC Fight Night event on July 24. The news was first reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN via UFC President Dana White and later confirmed by both women on their respective social media accounts.
Barber (8-2) made her promotional debut at UFC Fight Night: Korean Zombie vs. Rodriguez in 2018, after making a successful appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. There she met Hannah Cifers and earned a second-round technical knockout.
