Max Holloway provides a cautiously optimistic health update: ‘Starting to feel better’

UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway hasn’t had a good month. The Hawaiian fighter was forced out of his UFC 226 title defense against Brian Ortega due to a mysterious medical condition, and it seems that he’s still not sure what happened. At the time, it was initially diagnosed as concussion-like symptoms. Then UFC president Dana White said it may have had something to do with water loading. But it looks like there are still no concrete answers as of yet.

Holloway is still trying to figure it out, with the help of the UFC and doctors.
