Max Holloway: More weight-cutting rules may urge me to move up to lightweight

Over the last few years, the UFC has changed up some of their policies for weigh-ins and weight cutting. Many of those rules began taking place in 2016, which included the earlier weigh-in procedures as well as the ban on IV use and severe dehydration.

Many are pleased with these new developments, other fighters like Max Holloway seem to be bothered by them. On Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour, the current featherweight champion said he may just consider moving up to lightweight if the UFC and USADA continue to add more rules.
