EDMONTON, Alberta — Max Holloway is back at featherweight and ready to defend his title.
The reigning champion successfully hit the 145-pound mark at Friday’s weigh-ins for his main event bout with Frankie Edgar at UFC 240 this Saturday at Rogers Place. Edgar also successfully weighed in at 145 pounds.
This is Holloway’s first featherweight booking since December 2018. Earlier this year, he made a one-fight move to lightweight to battle Dustin Poirier for an interim title. Holloway lost by submission to Poirier in his UFC debut on Feb.
