Max Holloway is at it again, trolling Conor McGregor about his alleged request to fight for a 165-pound title.

A few days ago, Conor McGregor made news when he said he wanted to be a late replacement to fight Frankie Edgar at UFC 222. This led Edgar’s manager to tweet about McGregor’s alleged request for the fight to be for a 165-pound title. McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov was then asked about it, and he said it was “very, very close” to happening, and “plans were in place” for it.

Spoiler - it isn’t happening.

That all seemed sort of far-fetched to me to start with.
