Frankie Edgar’s next and perhaps last chance to grab Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight gold is back on the schedule.
Edgar will challenge UFC 145-pound champion Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 222. MMA Junkie was first to report the rescheduled contest on Monday evening. The promotion subsequently confirmed the headliner via Twitter.
UFC 222 is scheduled for March 3 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Holloway and Edgar were originally scheduled to square off at UFC 218 on Dec. 2 in Detroit, but Edgar suffered a broken orbital bone in training that knocked him out of the fight.
