Max Griffin Announces Withdrawal from UFC Fight Night 106 Bout vs. Sergio Moraes

Max Griffin has pulled out of a scheduled welterweight clash against Sergio Moraes at UFC Fight Night 106, the fighter announced on his Facebook page Thursday.

"Hey everyone. I have some news. I have made the decision to pull out of my March 11 fight in Brazil. I apologize to my opponent Sergio Moraes and his team. I know how hard we both have worked for this moment,” Griffin wrote. “I'm a tough guy and for me to pull out it's a serious event. It is what it is, it's out of my hands so I am ok with the decision.
