Former National Football League (NFL) defensive lineman, Greg Hardy, who last played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2015, announced earlier in the week that he was transitioning into mixed martial arts (MMA).
Hardy, 28, has a stigma attached to him after serving a suspension in 2014 for domestic abuse charges and in 2015 for possession of cocaine. NFL insider Jay Glazer buried Hardy publicly by urging MMA gyms not to let him in the door: "I'm calling on every other coach out there to not train this dude," Glazer said on "The Rich Eisen Show" earlier in the week.
